The Epic volunteers partnered with TCVs Stirling Mid-week group to build a path at The Japanese Garden located at Cowden Castle. This was an engaging day for the volunteers the Japanese Garden is a stunning location located near Dollar and showed the volunteers the process involved in building paths. They shifted great weights of hardcore aggregate onto geaotextile mats along the path taking great care to accurately deposit it in appropriate depths along the track. They also managed to improve irrigation along the track through ditch building.
In all the volunteers created 70m2 of new path in this site.
Its such a lovely garden! I’m glad Epic brought us here to work on the path
